Pirate Party: Upon arrival at SEA LIFE’s Ultimate Birthday Party, your child will be greeted by their host and transformed into a playful pirate with face painting and a costume craft activity. Next they will embark on a scavenger hunt adventure through the aquarium to uncover little known facts and secret clues that lead them to the ultimate treasure – their goodie bag! A very special SEA LIFE gift will await the guest of honor. Their journey continues on to the party room for a delicious and fresh birthday feast. Yes, any paying guest counts toward the 10 guest minimum.

Adult, child and senior guests will share a delicious, family style meal.
Where will our meal and cake be served?
Ocean Journey Pizza Party: After your aquarium tour and activity are complete, your group will be assigned a server at the Ocean Journey Cafe who will present your food and beverages. You will have 1 hour to enjoy your lunch.
Ultimate Birthday Party: Your meal and cake will be served in a decorated private party room inside SEA LIFE Aquarium.
What if we don't fulfill the 10 guest minimum?
You may elect to pay for 10 guests.
I already have a ticket, can I use it?
You are welcome to use any pre-purchased ticket, however, an additional $20 per person is required for the Ultimate Birthday Party and $10 per person for the Ocean Journey Pizza Party.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit for $100 of your package price (see cancellations and reschedules) will be charged to your credit card at the time of your reservation and applied to the final balance. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to your credit card 7 days prior to your scheduled party date. Birthday Parties must be paid in full one week prior to your scheduled party date in order to hold and keep your reservation.
Checks are not accepted for deposit or payment towards a SEA LIFE Aquarium Birthday Party.
Can I cancel or reschedule my party?
You may cancel or reschedule your party at any time, however your non-refundable deposit will be forfeited if you choose to cancel your party in lieu of rescheduling. Please call us at (760) 438-LEGO to make any changes to your Birthday Party.
Is parking included?
Parking is not included in the package rate. Each vehicle arriving at the Resort will need to pay for parking at the current rate.
What do we do when we arrive at the Aquarium?
Upon arrival, the party host must check in at the “Education, Birthday Parties and Groups” window at the main LEGOLAND California Resort entrance, adjacent to Guest Services. Please do not come directly to the SEA LIFE entrance. The party point-of-contact should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your reserved time to pick up the admission tickets and get details related to your party.
Can we bring our own cake or other food?
Food, alcohol and/or beverages may not be brought into the Aquarium.
Can we bring our own party favors?
SEA LIFE Aquarium provides a special activity and goodies for each paying child of the Ultimate Birthday Party only. However you are welcome to bring your own party favors for your guests or if you are hosting an Ocean Journey Pizza Party.
Is the party area decorated?
We provide a private, decorated party room for your group. If you would like, you may bring additional decorations for your party. However, please note that balloons are not allowed at the Aquarium due to our close proximity to the airport.
What if we have more guests than are allowed in the party area?
For the safety of your children, the occupancy limit is strictly enforced at (22) for Ultimate Birthday Party and (45) for Ocean Journey Pizza Party. When you make your reservation, we will make every effort to reserve a birthday area that will accommodate all of your guests.
What if we have specific dietary needs?
We are happy to discuss any other dietary needs with you. Please let us know how we can help when you make your reservation.
Is there storage for birthday presents and other items?
Please speak with your reservation agent regarding storage areas. You may also exit the Aquarium to store items in your vehicle, simply have your hand stamped for re-entry before exiting.
Is it possible for party guests to be dropped off?
Party guests that are being dropped off must be met by the party host at our designated drop off area, which is located just to the left of the toll booths on LEGOLAND Drive. Look for the large LEGO welcome sign and horseshoe shaped driveway.
What if our group is arriving separately?
When the party host checks in at the “Education, Birthday Parties and Groups” window of the main LEGOLAND California Resort entrance, please leave the names of any guests that will be arriving later. We will have their tickets available when they arrive and will direct them to your party location.
