Rock Pool Feeding

Where: Rock Pool in California Coast
When: Sat - 10:30 a.m.; Sun. & Wed. - 11:00 a.m.
Length: 10 minutes
Have you ever seen an anemone or sea star eat? Learn about how some of the “locals” of California’s tide pools survive in their tough habitats during this feed show. Afterwards, make sure to stop by our Southern California Tide Pool to meet these animals up-close and personal.

Harbor Dive

Where: Harbor Display in San Francisco Harbor
When: Fri. – 10:15am
Length: 15 minutes
How do you keep your house clean? Come watch a diver enter into our Harbor Display and clean the “home” of our leopard sharks, rays and other fishes.

Octopus Feeding

Where: Octopus Display in San Francisco Harbor
When: Tues. & Thurs. - 10:15 a.m.
Length: 10 minutes
Explore the life of our Giant Pacific Octopus, the largest type in the world! Discover the amazing adaptations that this animal has and learn why we give it “toys” to play with. Watch our nocturnal beauty come to life and prove how smart it is while watching it eat!

California Coast Feeding

Where: California Coast Gallery
When: Mon. – 11:00am & Sat. – 10:30am

Do all fish eat the same thing? Follow our aquarium biologists as they feed all of the animals of the California Coast area! Watch some of our sharks, lobsters and many other fish enjoy their breakfast right in front of your eyes.

Ray Feeding

Where: Ray Lagoon
When: daily. Wed. – 2:00 p.m.; Thurs. through Tues. – 1:00 p.m.
Length: 10 minutes
Discover the wonderful world of rays during this fun show. Rays have many adaptations that help them to survive in the sandy bottoms of the sea, and you’ll see these creatures use their unique bodies during their feed. Meet a staff member of SEA LIFE and watch these graceful animals “fly” through the water of the Ray Lagoon.

Atlantis Feeding

Where: Stadium Seating in Shipwreck Area
When: Tues., Thurs. & Sat. – 11:00 a.m.
Length: 15 minutes
Just like fish vary in size, shape and color, so do their diets and behaviors. “Dive in” to the largest display at SEA LIFE while learning about the special sharks, rays and other fishes that inhabit this 200,000 gallon, LEGO filled habitat!

Shark Pup Feeding

Where: Sharks Revealed
When: daily at 3 p.m.

Come meet some of our newest additions to our Sharks Revealed area…our shark babies! Although these little creatures usually hide in the rocks, you’ll be able to watch the pups get excited and fend for themselves as we feed them!

Seahorse Feeding

Where: Kingdom of the Seahorse
When: daily at noon and 4 p.m.
Length: 10 minutes
Venture into the Kingdom of the Seahorse and encounter one of the most unique creatures of the sea – the seahorse. Watch these fascinating fish “slurp up” their food as a SEA LIFE member feeds them during this show.

By dipping in and discovering the explorer within, you’ll soon embark on a whole new adventure in our local California tide pool. Get your hands wet while meeting these “locals” up-close and personal!
